Battle for Survival 1950-Present

Along with the rest of the nation, people of Globeville were seeking new jobs after coming back from World War II. With the shortage of housing, second generation descendants were seeking new loan opportunities for building houses in the suburbs of Denver. In addition, the Valley highway and the construction of I-70 split Globeville in half and removed a large number of original houses from the Globeville area.
